New Monday Challenge...Hello World!

                                         

Ciao a tutti! È ufficiale...ormai sono quasi in vacanza...devo solo stirare una montagna di vestiti e preparare le valigie...ce la posso fare! Ho cercato di resistere alla tentazione, ma alla fine ecco quello che ho preparato per la sfida del Lunedì di Simon Says Stamp...

Il tema è 'Use Patterned Papers', quindi ho usato un foglio dalla collezione 'Destinations' di Tim Holtz per decorare la prima pagina del mini album che raccoglierà le foto che farò durante la nostra vacanza in Grecia. Ho aggiunto una fustellata della 'Vintage Camera' sempre di Tim Holtz, una piccola tag che ho 'sporcato' con i Distress Inks mini pads Antique Linen e Vintage Photo, ho spruzzato con acqua, ho accartocciato ed asciugato. Ho deciso di non incollare la tag ma di attaccarla con un fermacampioni, poi ho incollato la scritta 'Hello' (un'altra fustellata) e creato le altre scritte con un'etichettatrice..

Ora non rimane che riempire le pagine con i ricordi delle nostre vacanze...

Hello everyone! I'm officially on holiday and ready to go...I just have to iron a mountain of clothes and pack our bags...I can make it! So I have tried to resist...but it was too tempting and in the end this is what I have made for the Monday Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Blog...

The new theme is 'Use Patterned Papers', so I have used a page from Tim Holtz 'Destinations' 12x12 paper stash to decorate the first page of a mini album I have made for  our forthcoming vacation in a Greek Island. I added a diecut shape from 'Vintage Camera' die by Tim Holtz, a little tag that I have distressed with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks mini pads, misted with water, crumpled and dried with a heat tool. 

I decided not to glue the tag onto the page, but used a brad instead, then I added the word 'Hello' (another diecut) and created the other words with a label maker.

Now all I have to do is to fill the pages with all the memories from our holiday...

TRAVEL WITH ME...SSS Monday Challenge!

Ciao! Eccomi con la sfida del Lunedì in casa di SIMON SAYS STAMP!
Il nuovo tema è 'WORLD TRAVELER'...ok è ufficiale...abbiamo tutti voglia di andare in ferie!!!
Per questa sfida ho deciso di preparare una card un pò particolare, che nasconde una sorpresa...

The new theme is ' WORLD TRAVELER'...ok it's official...we all want holidays!!!
For this challenge I have decided for a special card, hiding a surprise...

Ta-daa...una Pop-Up card...mi piacciono tantissimo!

Ta-daa...a Pop-Up card...how I love them!

Per l'esterno ho usato la fustella  Large di Tim Holtz 'Vintage Valise', per i manici e le fibbie ho usato del sughero distressato con i Distress Ink pads Walnut Stain e Black Soot, poi ho attaccato la fustellata su cartone di recupero, per dare più stabilità al tutto. 

Per l'interno ho utilizzato un timbro di una mini mongolfiera che ho colorato con pastelli acquarellabili della Faber-Castell. Ho disegnato delle nuvolette su una pagina di un libro precedentemente sporcata con gesso bianco, le ho ripassate con una Pitt artist pen nera sempre della Faber-Castell, le ho leggermente colorate sempre con i pastelli acquarellabili. Poi le ho ritagliate ed ho sporcato i bordi con il Black Soot.

Per il sole ho usato una fustellata da un set  di thinlits della Sizzix (You+Me).

Ho assemblato tutto ed ho mattato con cartoncino nero, e ritagliato seguendo i bordi.

Ho incollato alla card, ho aggiunto un banner con una scritta ed aggiunto un'altra timbrata.

For the outside of the card I have used the 'Vintage Valise' Large Die by Tim Holtz, using cork for the handles and such, distressed with Distress Ink pads Walnut Stain and Black Soot, then glued the die-cut on a recycled cardboard, for more sturdiness.
For the inside I used a mini stamp of a hot balloon that I have painted with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils. I have drawn the clouds over a gessoed book page, outlined them with a Fabel-Castell Pitt artist pen and slightly coloured them with watercolour pencils. Then I cut them out and distressed with Black Soot.
For the sun I have used a die-cut from the Sizzix thinlits set You+Me.
Glued all together with a black cardstock, and cut it out.
Taped down to the card, added a hand-written sign cut as a banner, and another stamp.

Ciao a tutti...Beh...questa non era preventivata...in realtà...a dirla tutta...ho preparato ieri questa Tag per le 12 Tags del 2016 di Tim Holtz, ma quando è stato il momento di postarla, mi sono accorta che c'era già un'altra Tag con la stessa scritta...non so, non mi sembrava giusto postare una cosa simile, quindi ho deciso di prepararne un'altra per il Blog di Tim e di utilizzare questa per la sfida del Mercoledì sul Blog di SIMON SAYS STAMP...in fin dei conti i prodotti di Tim li ho usati e possiamo definire questa Tag...'mascolina'...che dite?

Well...this one wasn't foreseen...to tell you the truth...I have made this Tag yesterday afternoon for Tim Holtz' 12 Tags of 2016, but when I was ready to post it I saw another Tag made with the same 'Dream' Die, I don't know...it didn't feel right to post it, so I have decided to make another one for Tim's Blog and submit this one for the SIMON SAYS STAMP Wednesday Challenge Blog...after all I have used Tim Holtz Products and we can say that this Tag could be used...'FOR A GUY'...what do you think?

Ciao, eccomi finalmente alle prese con la Tag di Giugno, per la serie le 12 TAGS DEL 2016 di TIM HOLTZ...questa è la mia versione...'Gira il mondo...Goditi il Viaggio!'
Sarà che ho tanta voglia di vacanze...!

Apparently I'm in urgent need of a vacation...!

Ho preparato i vari step seguendo le indicazioni di Tim nel suo Blog, ma utilizzando materiale che avevo a disposizione, come potete vedere dalle foto qui in basso...alla fine mi sono divertita tanto a preparare questa tag...mescolare le varie tecniche per me, che mi accosto per il primo anno a questo genere di sfide è veramente interessante e mi permette di esplorare materiali e metodi diversi ai quali non avrei mai pensato!

I have followed the steps shown by Tim in his blog, using materials I had in my stash, as you can see in the photos below...I really had fun making this Tag...as it is the first year I challenge myself with these sort of things, mixing and re-mixing all these techniques for me has been really interesting and compelling as it allows me to explore different ways and materials I would have never thought about!

Monday Challenge...Summer Garden...

Ciao a tutti...eccomi con il progetto per la sfida del LUNEDI, sul Blog di SIMON SAYS STAMP...
Il nuovo tema è 'SUMMER GARDEN', così ho deciso di unire varie tecniche in questa pagina del mio Art Journal...Adoro lo stile di Shara Reiner, così whimsy quindi ho usato il timbro di uno dei suoi angeli...in effetti avrei bisogno di un miracolo per far crescere qualcosa nel mio giardino...non ho proprio il pollice verde!
Per fortuna far crescere fiori di carta è più semplice...ho usato uno stencil 'fatto in casa' con dei punch, sia per la modeling paste che per ripassare i contorni, in modo volutamente non preciso. Per il 'fiore' più grande, ho usato un punch e poi lo stencil per le linee di contorno.

Hello everyone...here I am with my project for the weekly MONDAY Challenge, over SIMON SAYS STAMP Blog... The new theme is 'SUMMER GARDEN', so I have decided to use a variety of techniques in this page of my Art Journal...I love Shara Reiner's style, so whimsy, so I have used one of her angels stamp...I really need some kind of miracle to grow something in my garden...I'm definitely NOT a gardener!
Lucky me, growing paper flowers is way easier...I have used a 'home-made' stencil, made with circle punches, with some modeling paste and to outline the flowers, not in a neat way, with wiggly lines to create interest and some sort of decorations. The bigger 'flower' is made using a punch and then the stencil to outline.

Let's Mask it...

Ciao a tutti, ecco il progetto che presento per la sfida del Mercoledì nel Blog di Simon Says Stamp...il tema è 'MASK IT', quindi ho creato una card molto semplice, ed ho usato uno stencil di Carabelle Studio con i Distress ink pads Peacock Feathers (uno dei miei preferiti), Salty Ocean e Mustard Seed.

Poi ho creato un cuore con dello spago, l'ho colorato con gesso bianco, ho fatto asciugare e l'ho usato come maschera spruzzando il foglio con dei colori acrilici.

Ho aggiunto un sentiment...et voilà!

Hi everyone, here it is my new project for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge...the new theme is 'MASK IT', so I have made a very simple card, using a Carabelle Studio stencil with the following Distress Ink pads: Peacock Feathers (one of my all time favorites), Salty Ocean and Mustard Seed.

Then I have created a heart shape using some string, painted with white gesso, let it dry and used it as a mask, while misting the paper with acrylic sprays.

Added a sentiment...et voilà!
